We have an unwavering philosophy of caring for furniture. We respect and preserve as much of any original piece as possible.

We believe and understand all antiques are important to and have great sentimental value. So, when they’re looking a little sickly, our philosophy is to never let them perish. We work to revive—don’t replace—by breathing new life into worn down furniture pieces. If you preserve a piece of furniture that is 100 years old, it should last at least another 100 years if done properly.

Our Philosophy

John and Julie have been restoring and refinishing antique furniture for about 46 years. We have restored common pieces and rare pieces. Our latest rare piece was in 2012,  we restored a Governor of Wisconsin's desk from 1897 to 1901.

Occasionally we fix and restore pieces for other people depending upon the piece and time of year. It is getting harder to find a craftsman to restore the nice old pieces. John takes great pride in the work that he does.  He will always try to restore using old parts similar to what the piece was originally.

Come in and see us and the pieces that are restored. You will be glad you did.
